Anytime I called no matter how late in the day he answered the phone and took care of business. Thank you Marcus. Now for the VA IRRL process, not as easy as it is made out to be. If you are refianancing with you existing mortgage company not so bad they have all your information. If you are looking for a better rate with a new company get your documents together because there are many more you need to provide. LoanUnited is a good company they got us in at 2.25% at the last minute. I don't think rates have been this low since the sixties. Thank you, Marcus, and thank you LoanUnited.

I felt like some information wasn’t relayed properly and I found myself having to repeat things. Person who came to get us to sign loan documents forgot to get us to sign one document so I had to drive to Corpus Christi to get my husband to sign it during the week. She did however give us a small gift and $50 gift card.

Our only complaint was regarding the gentleman who came to the house to witness the signatures. He failed to wear a mask. He was, however, not your employee.

We have purchased homes in NY, TX and 2 in CA over the years. On 3/25/20 I applied for a VA refi to save a 1/2 point on my rate. Ken ******** explained all my costs clearly. On 3/30/20 my loan was approved and our loan closed on 4/28/20. I did check out out LoanUnited on BBB and they have an excellent BBB rating and only 3 complaints which seem to be credit-related, such as missing a 2nd mortgage payment within 12 months, and after loan docs had been submitted. I was also impressed by their loan guarantee, to match any competitor or pay a $250 guarantee, There is not a single complaint that LoanUnited failed to honor their guarantee. As a retired executive who used to live in Texas, I understood that YOUR WORD IS YOUR BOND and LoanUnited stands by that pledge.

I recently decided after receiving various solicitations in the mail to refinance my existing va home loan. I did not call any of those who had solicited me, instead I searched and called Loan United who had a one page web with a good rate of 2.75%. Ken already had my business after the first refi which I was originally doing through my Loan Originator who I used when I bought the house.I obviously liked the Loan Originator that I used to purchase the home enough to call him first for my 8/19 Refinance but I didn’t feel my original LO was aggressively hunting for the best rate.That’s when I found Ken. William Matiz and team were exceptional. My husband and I really did our due diligence with our home loan (we checked out 6 different lenders) and William Matiz and LoanUnited blew everyone else out of the water both in terms of rate (with no buy down) and closing costs. On top of that, we threw some pretty complicated requests his way and he understood the VA loan rules very well and helped us make the most of them. For instance, we asked for a seller concession he knew how we could structure this so we could pay off debt (only possible w VA loan). We also had a VA disability origination fee waiver issue and he helped us understand what we need to do. His team also made the process very quick and easy - they got the appraisal done immediately and if you are familiar w the VA - that’s a miracle. They were able to close ahead of schedule too.
